Toft 285-7, CBH 286-3. Chester won by 7 wickets
It's as you were at the top of the Premier League as Chester chased down 285 to take 25 points at Toft.
But with leaders Nantwich also winning handsomely, Chester remain in second place, 14 points behind with two games to go.
It was the perfect end to the week for Chester's Rick Moore after leading the County side to midweek success in the KO Trophy Cup Final against Devon. The free-scoring opener continued his great form with an unbeaten 128.
Toft batted first on the flattest of pitches and their 285-7 included a finely crafted hundred for wicket-keeper Rob Sehmi, 80 for Henry Hughes and 47 for Ed Stubbs.
There was little for the bowlers in the pitch - seam or spin - but Jack Williams grabbed 3-65 and Harry Killoran 3-54.
If there was any pressure on the Chester batters, it didn't show as they galloped towards their total. Warren Goodwin perished after a quick 37 but Moore and Jaime Crawley (74) then combined to add 164 for the second wicket. Alex Money chipped in 23 as Chester cruised home.
Chester play their final home game of the season next week against Marple before travelling to Bramhall on the last day of the season.
