Saturday sees our final league game of the year against Hyde at home.
Chester have the luxury of already being crowned champions following their 6 wicket win away at Toft last Saturday. This however still promises to be an exciting match with both Lee Dixon and Warren Goodwin fighting it out to be the top league run scorer and Jack Williams chasing 50 wickets.
Hyde who have to get 25 points to have a chance of remaining in the division are captained by Cheshire capped player Danny Berry and include Jason Whittaker and James Duffy in their side.
The final league game of the year preludes the Cheshire Cup final which takes place third time lucky at Neston on Sunday. Before the start of the game the first XI will be presented with the trophy by David Humpage at 11.45, it would be great to see as many friends of the club as possible down to see it.
The game is a midday start and is followed by our end of season fancy dress party. The match ball sponsor is John Legry. Updates throughout the day are available on twitter and the radio courtesy of Jim Law.
