With only three weeks to go this season, Chester welcome Cheadle to Filkins Lane this Saturday afternoon. Cheadle are captained by Dan Brown and come on the back of a twenty run victory against last year’s Champions Alderley Edge.
The first XI have a 12 point lead over Nantwich in the league going in to the last three games which include Toft Away and Hyde at home on the final day of the season. Chester are yet again at full strength and keep the same team which defeated Bowdon by 8 wickets on Saturday. Destroyer in chief Will Owen will be looking to build on a seven wicket haul from the weekend.
With the weather set fair it promises to be the beginning to a great weekend’s cricket for the first XI who travel to Neston for the Cheshire Cup Final on Sunday. The game is set for a midday start and it would be a real boost to see as many people down supporting the team as possible over the next few weeks to support the team.
