The 1st XI travel to Timperley on Saturday for the first Premier League game of the year to be hosted at the ground having been passed fit by the league last week. Timperley include Cheshire opening bowler Jack White and former Gloucestershire batsman Grant Hodnett in their starting XI.
Chester make four changes to the side which drew with Nantwich welcoming back Warren Goodwin, Alex Kegg and Oliver Law with Matthew Griffiths making his first appearance of the season following 631 runs at 70 this year for the 2nd XI in place of Alex Money who is on holiday.
In the game earlier in the season Chester chased down 255 for the loss of only two wickets with the destroyer in chief that day being Warren Goodwin who made 103.
Jack Williams will be looking to build on a strong couple weeks which has seen him pick up 20 wickets [12 for Cheshire and 8 for Boughton Hall], this being Jack’s last week of freedom before entering the full time world of employment.
The game is set for a 12.30 start and the match ball sponsor for the fixture is John Evans. Keep up to date with Jim Law on either twitter or the radio.
