Following three home games the first XI travel to Bowdon this Saturday buoyed by victories against Timperley and Alderley Edge in recent weeks. Bowdon are captained by former Lancashire all-rounder Simon Marshall and include former Glamorgan seamers Chris Ashling and Dewi Penhryn-Jones in their attack.
Chester make one change with Alex Kegg unavailable following a hamstring strain on Saturday as a result of his 15 over bowling spell. He is replaced by Sam Mallows whose return to the team will look to build upon strong performances against Didsbury and Bramhall earlier in the year. Cheshire captain Lee Dixon will be looking to take add to his season’s tally which included a second league hundred of the season versus Alderley Edge.
