CBH get their 2016 season underway with a trip to 2014 & 2015 champions Hyde at Werneth Low.
Will Owen and Nick James make their Chester debuts in a challenging opener against a Hyde side that again looks a strong contender for the championship.
The hosts add Aussie all-rounder William Walker to a strong side led again by Danny Berry and including the likes of James Duffy, Harry Dearden, Rob Brierley, Dave Fitzsimmons and Jason Whittaker. Danny Cranmer also returns to the side after a couple of years absence.
A season of change sees the number of overs allowed per bowler restricted to a maximum of 17 and the introduction of 30 yard fielding circles - the fielding side must have four men and the bowler and wicket-keeper inside the ring at the point of delivery.
The match will be carried live on TCS and Chester's Dee 106.3 will provide regular updates after the news on the hour.
