CBH welcomed current and new academy players, including England Women's Academy starlet, Sophie Ecclestone, as nets got up and running at King's School, Chester last week.

It's exciting times for women's cricket at CBH as coach Jo Herbertson explains.

"2017 is shaping up to be another exciting year as we enter the women's cricket league division one as reigning champions and introduce an academy side into division three for the first time ever. We need new recruits!

"Practice nights cover a range of cricket skills, there are games too and of course net sessions. And so as long as you're over 13 and whether you're a girl, sister, mum, auntie, neighbour or whatever, come and give cricket a go!"

Sessions take place every Thursday night at King's School, Chester from 6.00 - 8.00pm and the first session is FREE.
