Oxford Street may have had Rita Ora to switch their Christmas lights on this year but hey, she’s never dressed as Elvis, run the CBH junior cricket section or played in our pool team. At least to the best of our knowledge.

Dave Killoran was overwhelmed to be asked to throw the switch to kick start Christmas at CBH. “It’s up there with serving chip butties at one of our quiz nights or taking Nomads juniors on a Sunday morning,” he said.

The big switch on launches the CBH Festive Season which sees a number of events at the Club including the Nomads Christmas Party this weekend, sporting lunch on 8 December, kid’s Christmas party on 10th and our cricket club party on 23 December.

Ho ho ho.
