Everyone a winner on sparkling night

Time to celebrate and smile as CBH put another successful season to bed with a glittering awards night.

As well as the usual team winners across seven sides, Lee Dixon took the Club Player of the Year award, Di Tottty and Charlie Fleet were re-presented with Club person of the year and junior of the year awards and Phil Thomas was recognised for his great commitment to the Club prior to setting off for Australia.

Oulton Park and Cheshire's Danny Leech toasted the Club with an inspiring speech, President Brian Gresty highlighted the Club's worse ever fielders, Chairman Jim Gillson recognised his committee's efforts for the year and a hot pot supper was enjoyed by 120 people.

There were more speeches than you can shake a stick at and of course, ringmaster Lee Dixon held it all together.
