Sophie on BBC Awards Shortlist

Sophie Ecclestone is one of ten names revealed by the BBC as possible winners of the prestigious 2016 Young Sports Personality of the Year Award.

Sophie joined CBH at the age of 11 and has played regularly for the Ladies side over the years, still featuring as honours continued to come her way.

Success includes becoming part of the Lancashire Thunder Women's Super League side in addition to this year being named as the third youngest ever to play for her national team, representing England in T20 and ODIs.

Di Totty and Jo Herbertson led the accolades from CBH and of course we all send our congratulations and look forward to the December ceremony.
