Rick in the runs as Cheshire make inroads on day one

It was an action packed first day at Filkins Lane as Cheshire hosted Western Division leaders Berkshire.

Batting first, Danny Leech’s side managed 254 as Rick Moore topped with 68 and Simon Normanton hit 55 not out.

An astonishing turn round in a the last session saw Berkshire slip to 63-6 at the close.
