Overnight rain at Alderley Edge and rain throughout the day meant no play was possible in the second v first shoot out at Moss Lane.

The umpires called the game off just after 2pm and just before the heaven's opened with another deluge.

With few games played across the County, Nantwich took advantage of the inactivity with a win over Toft as third beat fourth.

So Nantwich now sit in second place, 12 points behind Chester.
