Latest from Phil Thomas

Numbers for Weight watching were significantly up. Next week will be the last for the Chimps. We're all slim and emotionally well balanced.

During the day on Friday we hosted a very interesting sales pitch for a company that has developed an up to date heart measuring system. Instead of a wavy graph, this machine provides all kinds of information on the health and efficiency of all parts of the heart.

Friday night brought "Spike's" 70th birthday party. Live entertainment, good food, old friends, ex wife, ex girlfriend and girlfriend all enjoyed a good night. Everyone had fun, and I know that " Spike" appreciated the effort that people made to get there.

Another excellent afternoon on the pitch for our teams. The first team weren't in action, so an enhanced 2nd team thrashed Fords 4-0. ( 2 more from Charlie Mann). The 3rds, 4ths and 5ths all enjoyed comfortable victories, whilst the Vets drew 1-1 up in Crosby. Most then enjoyed Liverpool's victory over Citeh.

A quiet night in the Bar didn't stop the usual shenanigans being discussed the next day. Not a good night to get locked out your house.
We then hosted a lovely Christening, where all enjoyed the sumptuous Carvery. Again, many, many more happy punters. Well fed and watered. ( Maybe not watered).

Somehow the Boughton hippo now seems to have changed into the Boughton Beast. Any sightings?

It all goes on at The Club.

See you soon.
Mr. T.
