Keggy's new football pitch takes shape

With the football season already underway, Chester Nomads AFC's new football pitch is looking a stunning addition to the Filkins Lane facilities.

"All the hard work over the Summer's been worth it'" said Groundsman Alex Kegg as he proudly showed off the fantastic new surface.

"We removed topsoil from the bank, flattened and widened the old pitch and levelled out the car park."

The new pitch will be up and running shortly and in a word, is outstanding and testament to a groundsman who is used to turning out first class pitches during the summer.

He's now got a football pitch to match.

As somebody once said; "If you can't play football on that..."
