Jordan Clark back at CBH for a fourth term

Popular Lancashire all rounder Jordan Clark is set to return to CBH in 2015...

"Whilst there were a number of clubs looking at snapping up Jordan, he was keen to come back to Chester where's he had some great times with us in the last few years," said 1st XI skipper, Lee Dixon.

"And whilst his 2014 appearances were limited by injury and county commitments, he remains a popular figure at Chester. He'll assist with junior coaching and it'll be great for the youngsters to spend some time with one of Lancashire's T20 stars from last season".

Clark will also be involved in several coaching clinics and hosting various Q & A sessions for the Club.

His primary role will be to spearhead the CBH attack following the injury to planned overseas quickie, Jack Prestwidge after a highly successful National U19 carnival for Queensland. It means he's had to postpone his trip to the UK for now although Dixon is hoping he'll still be fit enough to be selected for the Australia U19s tour here.

"Unfortunately he needs surgery, but we may yet see him wear the baggy CBH blue later in the year. He's deeply disappointed as he was really excited to be following in the footsteps of Josh Henderson, leading the line for the us".

So with Dixon acting quickly, plans remain well advanced for the forthcoming season.

"We've been training for several weeks now and had over 50 senior players at nets so far. Of course, new members are always welcome to join us too as the excitement builds for the months ahead".
