He quickly became a popular character at the Club, managed to survive 'the hut' (although there were one or two close shaves!) and contributed on and off the field.

Nick has now secured a job at Cundall Manor School, just north of York, working with ex-Hyde and Cheshire CCC captain, Danny Woods.

He says, "the job's going well and I've been offered a permanent place from January. Of course I'll be back to see friends at CBH from time to time but moving over here means I'll be playing my cricket with York CC for next season.

"Good luck to all CBH teams and I look forward to keeping up to speed with the results. Thanks to everyone at the Club for their support. I'll still be around as a social member and who knows what the future holds".

We wish Nick the very best for the future and look forward to seeing him back at som estate.
