We're up and running from 23 January

With the season getting ever closer it’s nearly that time for players to get the cricket bag out of the garage and head off to winter nets.

For the players of Chester Boughton Hall it’s just a few days away with the first session set for Wednesday 23 January, running from 8.30 to 10pm.

Cheshire leg spinner and Chester vice captain, Jack Williams, will be leading the sessions with 2019 skipper Rick Moore currently away in Melbourne, Australia, playing his cricket at Darley CC alongside Andy Metcalf. Jack has plans in place to maximise the time and get the lads geared up to the new season.

“Pre-season training is an important way to get back together as a group, build on where we left off last season and identify areas for improvement moving forward.

"I’m really looking forward to my new role and working alongside Rick in preparation for the challenges ahead,” he said.

As ever we welcome any new members and there will be nets tailored to suit all teams, from 1st XI to over 40’s.

Senior nets run from Wednesday 23 January until 3 April (excluding 30 January) at Queens park High School, Chester from 8.30-10pm, cost £5 per session..
