The 2nd Xl got off to a winning start in the quest to regain the t20 crown.
Having won the toss and batted, the innings began well with in-from George Metcalf (44) and Dan Riley (26) getting stuck in to the Grappenhall bowlers.
When they departed the innings rather faltered to a below par 122-8 with Tom Evans (10) the only other batsman to make double figures.
"Anything we score is a good score"...the usual rallying call said with fingers crossed.
Charlie Fleet with a wicket first ball and then third smartly caught by Will Fisher. Charlie again and a run out left Grapp 14 for 4 after 3 before a rally in the middle overs but Chester fielded brilliantly.
Reg, Will and Jack McGovern brilliant. Dan and Dil got a wicket before Sam and then Wiggy (3 for 16) finished the game bowling Cagna in the 19th over. 103 all out.
One of the best performances from the 2's in recent years. Wiggy and Charlie outstanding with the ball and Tom Evans superb behind the stumps.
