Never a dull moment at nets...

Another action packed week for the cricketers of CBH with very busy net practices and the rust looking like it has started to come off a number of senior players.

At first team nets the standard looked good with new member, Liam looking very handy, bowling left arm seam, and Ash and Will making nets a real challenge with good pace and movement.

Captain Lee Dixon, known for his time spent on the phone, was in a spin after his mobile disappeared during the session. An hour of asking players, searching high and low and even players emptying their bags followed. Some looking harder than others.

With the phone deemed lost, Dixon trudged back to the car park, to be helped by James, Davis and Goodwin. Ash using the find my iphone app did locate the device.

Great now it was moving! The device suggested Will Owen had driven off with it in his car, but the plot thickened as the route on the map changed suddenly heading towards the Wirral.

Surely the lad sat next to Dixon, one Alex Money, had checked his bag?

Ash set off the alarm on the lost phone as Goodwin rang Money. Much to his dismay the phone was going off in the background.

Dixon quickly headed off to the set redezouus point as Mr Money and Father Graham were there with phone in hand. Ideal efforts from the young junior pro as he heads back to Leeds to continue his studies.

Never a dull moment on or off the pitch!
