A packed CBH enjoyed the return of a gentle giant as West Indies bowling legend Curtley Ambrose came to town.

Curtley played for Chester back in the 1980s and his return as one of the best bowlers the cricketing world has seen was triumphant.

A packed house enjoyed a lively Q&A hot pot evening as Curtley gave an insight into the world of a test fast bowler.

The gentle giant opened up to changing room anecdotes and his cricketing heroes as well as providing his thoughts on West Indian and England cricket.

The one England player he would really liked to have bowled at? One Kevin Peterson. That he suggested (from a brief meeting with him), would have been 'entertaining'.
