It was a case of deja vue as Chester clinched their second win at Didsbury in two days as they got home by eight wickets in their Cheshire Cup quarter final tie.
Will Owen's men restricted the home side to 130 with Harry Killoran claiming 4-22.
As with the league game the day before, Chester then got off to a poor start, struggling to 7-2 with Ross Dixon and Warren Goodwin back in the hutch.
But again Rick Moore held firm and together with Alex Money steered his side home comfortably in the end.
Moore finished unbeaten on 67 and Alex Money 55.
Chester's reward is a rare home tie - a semi final against New Brighton on 20 August.
