AGM announcements for the year ahead

President Brian Gresty led the CBH 2017 AGM and thanked outgoing Chairman Jim Gillson for his efforts over the last four years highlighting the progress of the Club and Jim's contribution.

Jim reflected on a busy period for the Club which saw the introduction of new state of the art nets and the introduction of the highly successful All Stars programme which saw CBH voted as the North's leading club for progressing this exciting innovation for youngsters.

He talked too about potential new associations with the new Phil Greening Gym at Chester Rugby Club, thanked his committee for their hard work, recognised Dougherty & Allan's significant contribution in offering a catering and support arrangement second to none and welcomed an exciting sponsorship arrangement which sees local solicitors Cullimore Dutton become the Club's principal sponsor. And then of course there was the well documented success and progress on the field.

Secretary John Legry announced that annual subscriptions will remain the same as 2017 and Chairman of Directors Jeremy Jordan talked about the Limited Company's financial position - citing the cost of the new football pitch as a major expenditure.

Thanks were also given to Bar Manager Phil Thomas who leaves Chester for Australia next week after 15 years sterling service.

Club officials were duly elected for the forthcoming season which sees stability with little change:
