This summer, the England & Wales Cricket Board are hosting the ICC Women's World Cup and to celebrate, Cheshire Cricket Board are giving women across the County the opportunity to come and try cricket for FREE!

Through a series of exciting softball festivals, ECB/ CCB aim to give women a fantastic first experience of cricket and ignite a passion to continue playing, either competitively or socially with friends.

The first event at Timperley Sports Club attracted over 90 Women and we have another great opportunity to look forward to at Chester Boughton Hall Cricket Cub on Sunday 6 August 12 noon - 4pm.

The format is a 8-a-side pairs cricket. Women (13+ years old) can either enter as a team or as individuals to be assigned to a team - no prior experience is necessary!

All competitors get a free t-shirt on arrival and a complimentary glass of Prosecco. Teams will also receive a FREE kit bag to continue playing after the Festival is over.
