Despite being abandoned after just 24 overs , Chester had raced to 172 for no wicket.

George Metcalf scored his first ever hundred in a wonderful innings.
His partner Tom Wyatt 66 no was equally impressive .

The ambition of the Academy was to provide a launching pad for the excellent club juniors and the future of the club looks bright indeed.

Always looking to blend a bit of seniority to aid the youngsters, there was even space for an Australian addition with CBH's friend from Melbourne and Australia Over 60s regular , Artie Pritchard popping over for special appearance!
